Modded DS at GameStop?
I have a black DS Lite that is What I guess would call modded. It has the A, B, Start, Select, L, R, and battery cover from a white DS Lite onto a Black one. I have all of the buttons but the A in black. Will they accept this as a trade in or will I have to find the missing black A button? And as a side question what are their policy's on cracked hinges?
P.S. I'm trading it in for a DSi so don't think I know about crappy trade in values.
This is quite funny actually. My suggestions would be to take it up there first (they probably wouldn't even notice the modifications at first hand), and if they ask, just tell them that you used spare parts. However, as far as a successful transaction, I cannot be 100% sure they will take it, but I've seen some really jacked up systems [like a cracked ds screen with major scratches on touch pad] being turned in. I don't know, maybe they will sell it as a "refurbished" item?
