My ps3 won't turn on after cleaning it.?
Hi. Yesterday I was playing god of war three and the fan was extremely loud and unbearable. So I opened up my ps3, cleaned the fan it was really dusty. I cleaned other parts I know could be dusty. Now, I coupled the ps3 back and it won't turn on. No lights nothing. The ribbon cable that connects the power and eject buttons to the system had a little scratch on the gold platting but that shouldn't be a reason it wont turn on should it? I have tried many things but still won't come on. Any help will be good. I don't have $189 cad to give to sony for repairs. Thanks
@ first answer, yes I did.
Cleaning it yourself...risky. It depends on how you cleaned it. Did you have on an anti-static band, because some static electricity can ruin a component.
