I have a sony vaio with builtin speakers. I have no sound from the audio device,looks as if they are deactive?
looks as if the audio device is not on, light grey, can't activate, please help. Thanks
it must be a driver problem, go to the sony website and to driver or software download and download the latest driver for your speakers. Or, go to start and then right click on my computer go to manage and from their go to device manager. There, you will have all the installed hardware shown. Find your sound card or hardware and right click it and select update driver. If you have vista, a screen will come up asking you to either update it over the internet or manually, do internet.
