yes, it is a pretty old laptop with intel pentium II, 266 mhz processor
as far as the answering your specific question,
very little in documentation on dell site to answer that correctly
so here i got to do some guess work
i. connection type > ide
ii. physical type > 2.5"
outside of these would be
size: 4 to 10 gb
have no clue if the bios can read bigger drives
best not to hazard any bigger than that
will try digging deeper, if i find anything ... another 8 hours please !
well, now to get to actuals
absolutely pointless buying this laptop
yes, i mean buying, without the system being operational and working
it has pretty much reached it's useful life !
will simply be a chain of nightmares if you have to get started with buying something for it to get it started
only to find, you need something more
and yet more
abandon any thoughts of this deal, how so ever cheap !
