How can I set up wireless on my laptop?
Hi I have a Dell Latitude CPt laptop and i want to set up wireless on it? What equipment do I need and where does it go? cheers
OK first what u need to do is buy a wireless router.(I recommend linksys.) Then set that up on your computer.Just follow the instruction that the setup gives you. Then get on ur laptop and open the start menu. Then there should be a button i cant remember what its called but I believe its connections or something like that. And then that should open up a window and if u named your router you will see that but if you didn't it will just show the product name. Then click on it,click connect, and if you set a password for the router you will have to enter it here but if you didn't you will just automatically be connected.
