How can I load my Dell System Software CD onto Floppy Disks?
I recently received anDell Inspiron 4150 laptop but it does not have a cd drive on it, only a floppy drive. I contacted Dell for all of the needed disks for the system, but they were only able to send CD’s not floppies. I purchased a USB cd drive, but the system will not recognize the USB port until it gets to windows (which I am unable to load). Is there anyway to load all of the information on the cd’s onto floppies? If anyone has any other suggestions on how I can get this laptop up and running, please feel free to offer any advice. Thanks
1 CD requires about 500 floppies - your proposal does not sound wise. Invest in an external USB CD drive - your laptop can boot off that device which is why Dell did not include a built-in CD drive with the laptop.
