altoids tin computer with screen (in lid) and keyboard (and everything else in the bottom part) running DOS?
could this be done? all it would have to be able to do is run DOS and display it on the screen and i would be proud of it. i'm thinking the memory would be a micro SD card attached via onboard adapter (which might also serve as processing power/ram) and it would have a battery in it as well with the small motherboard (duh) in it too topped off with a mini keyboard (similar to a smartphone's) and a small lcd screen to display text... i don't know how to make this (yet) but i'm contemplating if it would even work in the first place, what with all the micro computers nowadays. what do you think, should i go ahead with this and develop it over time or is this a stupid idea that wouldn't work even if i tried really hard?
running linux would be a better bet, yes you can do it, you need a microcontroller, I don' think there is a version of dos to run on such devices.
