SSD Purchase.Which one?
Okay,i'm gonna buy 4 SSDs and get them into RAID 0 .
The question is which of those two?
1.) Intel Postville X-25 40GB(with a 160GB total) [170 MB/s Write] [40 MB/s Read]
2.)OCZ Vertex Series 30 GB(with a 120GB total) [200MB/s Write] [160 MB/s Read]
I'm thinking of getting the OCZs as 120GB are enough(i don't use more than 60GB) and because it's a lot faster(so the result of 4x OCZs will be incredibly faster than 4x Intels)
Which one do u think?
I don't think TRIM is supported in a RAID array for the OCZs. Better looking into that.
Personally, I like OCZ Turbos better than both of the above.
Also, are you using a PCIe RAID card?
