How do you restore a partition from the recovery partition?
So say you have a dell, hp pc etc.
A lot of them have a recovery partition with what i assume is an image of the OS, i haven't actually looked yet.
So how do you restore this image to your boot partition?
I guess you must have to use the Ced that came with the pc as this will have the restore software of it, same things as norton gjost?
Andy... all you need to do is:-
From a completely mains off situation
Switch on and immediately and continuously tap F8. (Assuming O.S. Vista)
Until this action brings up on screen a selection of options.
One of which will be:-
“Repair your Computer”,
Abort i.e. cancel and return. So, if you got this far you have an O.S. Vista Partition. With all the good benefits that come with it...Have a good day?
