Would you buy a Dell Latitude D510 or a D520 refurbished?
The D510 has a Pentium M processor however it seems the fan on the refurb one I got was always on, and the letters bled so I returned it. The D520 has a Core Duo provessor (does it run hot?) is supposedly quiet. Both have time on the warranty, which I can extend another two years. All opinions welcome, thanks. I have to buy refurb cuz I cannot afford a new one.
Why would anyone buy a dell? They have the worst customer service!
Don't believe me? Try calling their customer support line. Have fun getting transferred throughout India to people who barely speak English until someone just hangs up on you. Have fun finding out that the computer you purchased doesn't have the parts you ordered, and that the salesman lied to you. Have fun replacing the parts at your own expense because Dell's service guarantee is nothing but a joke..
