HP-Compaq Presario CQ60 with Windows 7?
So a week ago I bought a HP-Compaq Presario CQ60 with Windows 7. I got it from my older brothers best friend, he had no need for it because he was called back to serve in Iraq. Its brand new still has the plastic seal on the front of it. When he showed it to me it was wworkingfine, then I went on vacation and came back and it was dead. So I charged it up and turned it on and now I need his password. Is there anyway I can restore/bypass the lloginscreen so that I can change the password. Yes I know i could wait till he gets back but it could be 2 years, and there is no way of getting ahold of him. So can anyone PLEASE HELP ME???
I pressed F-11 now what do I do?
Oh and the password hint is jeffgordon
Restart computer and keep tapping F11 to restore factory settings.
EDIT.
When you tap F11 at startup do you not get a screen asking if you want to repair or restore factory settings?
