How come my Laptop's speakers turn off when I close it?
I have a emachines MX4625 laptop. My internal speakers work just fine, but when I close it so that it goes to sleep mode, I have to wake it up by pressing the power button, then the speakers won't work. I click on the audio properties and put the volume all the way up, it says the speakers are working fine but there is no sound. Even when I plug in headphones. I have to restart just to get my speakers active again. Any solution to this?
it does this to save power. go to control panel, click on sounds and audio devices, and it is there somewhere. i did this on my old laptop but i dont know exactly where it is there.
