last minute buying advice... ASUS or HP?

I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a new netbook/laptop. I don't need a full blown notebook since i'll use it mainly for web browsing and typing. i was just about to buy a brand new ASUS Eee PC 900 (not 900 16g... just the 900 with linux!!!) but at the last minute a buddy of mine suggested an HP 2133 MiniNote KX869AT for $299 after rebate (120gb hard drive (not SSD) with linux!.)

which computer is the better choice.

memory is not an issue (i prefer flash anyway)

thanks in advance

Asus makes the best most reliable PC's and motherboards in the world. I have owned and sold them for years. They have a very low (for me less than 1%) failure rate, Excellent Customer service, Full support and a cheaper price tag than the HP. ($ 249.00 at New Egg) If you prefer external storage then the solid state construction of the Eee PC should be perfect for you. It's lighter than the HP and a much better choice all around.
