How to re-install the BIOS for my dell studio xps 16 laptop with 64-bit windows 7?
Yesterday, I was updating my BIOS driver from dell's website and in the middle of the upgrade, the system suddenly became unresponsive. So I just closed the lid and put it away. Now if i press the power button, the system does not turn on. Someone please please help me out find a way to solve this problem.
You may have bricked your motherboard by installing the wrong BIOS.
Depends on the BIOS, some have backup BIOS files that allow you to recover your BIOS and others don't... you need to find out if yours does.
