Mac Ibook Laptop
Apple Mac ibook laptop..airport card?
I have an older ibook (which I love) it has the wireless airport card in it. I have a wireless router at home and my provider is ATT. Well of course my laptop connects to the internet fine at home..But when Im not at home sometimes i can never connect to the internet or if it finds a connection, Im prompted to put in a password. Now my questions is there a service out there where I can go anywhere on my own network and not have to "share" or connect to another network? Im a full time student with 4 online classes and I need to be able to "connect" no matter where Iam..How do I do this??
If you are trying to connect through a public access point (like those in Coffee Shops, Libraries or at the Airport) you shouldn't need a password to connect to the Internet.
I have a Hawking card which not only provies a better range (distance) to connect to the internet, no matter where I am. But also, comes with a software that gives me a list of the available access points on any given city. (You will need to disable the airport card in order to Enable the Hawking card and services, you can enable it back whenever you need it and disable the Hawking, or vice versa)
