What is your opinion on the Lufthansa Business Class seat?
I am going to Germany tomorrow and I am wondering about the Business class seat(which I am flying). Many people say they tend to slide down since it is a angled lie flat seat and others say they are just fine. I am 5'6 and weigh about 130 pounds, so will the seat be a problem for me. Also tell me what you thought of the cabin too. Thanks!
Its not that they slide down.. they're just angled. Much like an EZ chair.
You will be comfortable. You will enjoy yourself, you will get better food like a restaurant, you will be given free drinks, and champagne.. and most of all, you will sleep like a baby on the seat. The seat unfolds into a flat bed. But its not completely flat, but angled so that your head is up a little but the seat flattens almost to the floor. It is very comfortable and don't let what those people tell you that its sliding... they're just jealous cos you get to fly Business Class and they aren't. Remember the airplane isn't flying completely horizontal cos the planes always fly slightly with their nose up. So we think the seat is not flat, but if you look at how the plane is flying.. you are actually flat against the gravity point. If the seat is completely flat you will actually find it hard to sleep as the blood will rush and gather around your head!
Lufthansa has one the best Business Class service in Europe. Their planes are new, the cabin is clean, the flight attendants are professional and helpful. The meals are good. You even get your own TV in your seat.
