802.11b wireless....802.11b/g wireless....802.11n wireless? which is the best?
Im buying a new laptop at the moment and bascially i just use a laptop for the internet and maybe microsoft word. Im looking at oqo MODEL1 ultra small laptop but this laptop has a 802.11b wireless....i see the mac air has a 802.11n wireless!...which is the best for surfing the net?...or is there any real difference? will any these become outdated over time? or no longer be catered for wifi networks? the oqo is 560 euro and the macbook is like 1300 euro....thats why i ask
wireless n is by far the best by several factors. it also accepts b/n. most places with wifi has g so the value of n is questionable for now. if you use it at the house n will see a bigger difference and longer range.
