Phyics or chemestry question not sure?

Water is said to be more dense than ice. This was mentioned in book about water quality in fish tanks, so believe author is making point about how hydrogen bond differs, so if my assumption is correct wonder if following statements are correct: heat energy could be defined as force that caused hydrogen atoms of water to move in one direction, and opposite cold energy wound cause hydrogen atoms to move in another direction. Will slip in another question. Is there term for cold similar to calory is used for heat?

There's no "cold energy". Temperature alter the speed at which molecules (water's, in this case) move, but not the direction.
Heat and cold are not 2 separate phenomena, they are 2 extremes of the same one and thus are described by the same units.
